Who's in the core team?


Toby Johnson
Toby's career began in the debt advice sector, where he worked on high-innovation projects to introduce automation to the advice process, to help reach more people and raise the quality of advice at scale. He then moved to financial services, before founding Step, who have risen to become the leading voice in AI-powered signposting. Step are now the largest provider of quality assured data on free support across the UK, and a global leader in using AI to match people to the right solutions.

Step's technology provides the core infrastructure for HelpHub, as well as powering the signposting element of the HelpHub service.


Guy Statter
Guy has extensive experience working with Tier 1 organisations in banking, insurance, business services and technology around securing investment for and delivering large projects in software, services, and outsourcing. His previous experience a senior manager within Qualco UK, and head of growth within InbestAI has given him a deep knowledge of the collections sector and customer support, that he now brings to the HelpHub team.


Jim Stott
Jim's experience as an IT leader spans over 20 years experience, including working most recently as a senior leader at Hoist Finance.
